Here are the cards we made at Violette's stamp club earlier this month. My niece got the bumblebee one for Valentine's Day. :)

Card Class at Violette's

Jill and I took a card class at our lss, Violette's, last night. We tag-teamed our cards - she did the Cuttlebug cutting and embossing, and I glued everything together. Stamping was already done for us, and we each colored our own. They turned out great! Jenn

Card Share

I went to my unit meeting for CTMH today. This card is one of the things I made. It's a combo of ideas - Addie decided on a circle card, Toni gave me the inspiration for the cut-out flowers and the flourish stamps, and then my contribution was the pearl accents. All supplies CTMH.

More CHA - Make & Takes

****1/16/10 - sorry, had to remove the album from Flickr since I'm only allowed 200 pics! If you want to see the pics that were here, comment and I'll do a new post with them****

I added pics of most of the make-and-takes I did to the Flickr album. Still have a couple more to finish and photograph! E-mail me or comment if you need the links to any of the companies I mentioned!

Stamp Club Cards

This month's stamp club project at Violette's lss was playing with alcohol inks on acetate! So much fun!

Card Share from Stamp Club Class

I'm not overly thrilled with these, but this is what we did in Stamp Club at my lss Violette's tonight. I like how the corn turned out - you can't really see, but I used two shades of green watercolor pencils. The pumpkin in the second card (recipe card rather than a greeting card that opens) was watercolored, and I am not very good as getting the different shades all in one object! Oh well. Maybe I'll try to make the pumpkin bars and see how they taste (hopefully better than the pumpkin looks lol)!

Christmas Cards

Here are the latest projects I made at Violette's Stamp Club class. We made a gift card holder (the gift card slides underneath the red mat, where the notch is),
a gift tag (the other side is stamped as well), and a small card (green is background and white card opens up to reveal a sentiment).

Enjoy!

Cards Using Club Scrap's Retreat 2006 Kit

I'm going through all my old Club Scrap kits, ALSBing and making cards, and getting rid of what I'm not going to use. I made a bunch of cards using the G2G we got with our Retreat 2006 kit. Enjoy!

Cards Made With Club Scrap's Matrix Kit

I made these three cards using Club Scrap's Matrix kit. The cards themselves are from G2G, and I used POPs, scraps, and ribbon from the kit along with stuff from my own stash. THere are more to come, but I have to finish them. Enjoy!

Stamp Club Projects

Here are the two cards we made at the Violette's stamp club this month, using Amuse stamps. I bought the grass stamp, but passed on the others. Nevermind that I bought paper and another cool stamp!

Card Share - OCAM Spoiler

Warning - if you haven't gotten your Club Scrap OCAM yet, don't peek!

I did these two cards today using a technique I found in Paper Crafts Magazine (March 2008 issue) where you punch a bunch of circles and overlap them. I thought it looked fun, so figured I'd try. I used Club Scrap's Avant Garde kit since the colors are bright and Summery. I like the way they turned out!

Violette's Stamp Club Projects

I belong to a club at my lss where for $35/year I get 20% off all stamps and a free class each month. We usually make 2 cards. It's been fun and I'm learning to use watercolor pencils (as you've seen in previous posts!). I splurged and bought the 48-pencil set of Prismacolors today :)
Here's this month's cards:

Card Share - My First Bella!

I made this card for my coworker's birthday - she loves to shop even more than I do, if you can believe it! I'm not thrilled with my watercoloring work, but oh well, I still think it turned out cute!

Edit - some have asked about the other stamps - they are a "Fractured Funnies" set from Hambo. I just stamped the "SALE" one over and over for the background, and popped the Bellas and then double-popped the "Now that I have your attention...". BTW, the recipient loved the card :)

Card Share

Spoiler Alert - if you are in the Club Scrap OCAM swaps and haven't gotten your cards for May yet, don't peek!

I ordered from All That Scraps, and got this darling CC Designs Bitty Bug stamp, and the Core-dinations cardstock. Not as happy with the cardstock as I thought I'd be, but oh well, even not distressed the colors are pretty. Used Stickles and watercolor pencils to add color to the stamp. I like the green and yellow one best, which do you prefer?

Thanks for looking!

Card Share

I've met my match - my coworker, Toni, is worse about mornings than I am! I beat her to work almost every day, and those who know me know that's not an easy thing for me to do lol.
Toni is a great Admin Assistant, so for Administrative Professionals Week, I made her this card. I didn't have a chance to color in the stamped image because I made it at 8:30 in the morning before work. Everyone agreed the sentiment was perfect for her!

Happy Belated Administrative Professionals Week for all you wonderful Admins out there!
